What decides the price of a UV printer in India
Two machines with the same name can differ by lakhs, because a UV printer is sold as a configuration, not a model. Five things set the number. Knowing them is how you compare quotes that look nothing alike.
The five drivers
Where the money goes
1. Print area
A bigger bed or a wider roll needs a longer gantry, a larger vacuum table and heavier media handling. Print area sets the floor of the price before anything else is chosen. Every machine page here states the exact printable area.
2. Printheads — the count and the model
The single biggest variable. The same machine can ship with a few heads or a full row, and heads are the most expensive parts in it. More heads print faster; the head model decides droplet size and duty. A quote that does not name the head model and count is not yet a quote.
3. Colour channels
CMYK is the base. White ink — needed for anything dark or transparent — takes its own channel and its own supply, and because white pigment settles the machine carries circulation for it. Varnish is another channel again. Each channel adds hardware, so “with white” and “without” are different prices.
4. The platform
A flatbed prints rigid material, a roll-to-roll prints from the roll, and a hybrid does both from one frame. The platform follows from what you sell — choosing it by price alone buys the wrong machine cheaply.
5. Everything around the machine
Delivery, unloading, installation, operator training, the stabiliser the mains here make advisable, and the spares position after the warranty. Freight and exchange rate move the landed cost of an imported machine, and GST applies on top. Two quotes can differ mostly in what they quietly leave out of this list.

Compare configurations, not totals
Before comparing two offers by the bottom line, check that they describe the same machine.
- The printhead model, and how many are fitted.
- The colour channels — CMYK only, or with white, or with varnish.
- The print speed at the pass count you would actually run, not the peak.
- What installation and training include, and for how many days.
- The warranty terms, stated in writing — including the printhead.
- Delivery position and who handles unloading.
This is why this site publishes specifications and not prices. A headline figure describes the cheapest build of a machine; a written offer names the build. Every specification here is transcribed from the specification sheet, and the compare page puts any two machines side by side.

Tell us the material, the width and the volume. The offer comes back in writing, with the configuration named.
Machines are sold in configurations, so the specification decides the price. Tell us the material and the volume and we will quote the exact build.
